Ingredients
- 6 each Kayem Beef Skinless Hot Dogs
- 6 each Split Top Hot Dog Rolls
- Pineapple Chutney -- ---
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1/2 each Red Onion, diced small
- 1/2 each Red Bell Pepper, diced small
- 2 each Garlic Cloves
- 1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 2 cups Pineapple, diced small
- 1 tbsp Ginger, Fresh, grated
- 1/2 each Jalapeno, seeds removed, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
- Pinch Salt
Method of Preparation
Step 1
In a saucepan over medium heat, add oil, onion, bell pepper, and garlic.
Cook until the vegetables are soft.
Step 2
Add the vinegar and honey. Cook down until the liquid is reduced.
Step 3
Add the pineapple, ginger, jalapeno, mustard seeds, and red chili flakes.
Simmer until the pineapple has softened and all the liquid has been evaporated.
Step 4
Remove from heat, add in a pinch of salt, and cool to room temperature.
Step 5
Cook hot dogs to your liking and build on a split top hot dog roll with pineapple chutney. Enjoy!
